Catalog description

An introduction to the theory and applications of linear algebra. Topics include vector spaces, linear transformations, matrices and determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, inner product spaces, and orthogonality. The course develops both computational proficiency and the ability to formulate and understand abstract mathematical arguments. Prerequisites: C- or better in MATH 225. Every semester.
