Catalog description

In this course we will read selected texts written during the “post-Classical” period. We will spend most of our time closely reading and carefully translating representative texts in order to gain confidence in working independently with the help of dictionaries, grammars, and commentaries. Students will be expected to prepare texts on a regular basis. Other assignments include word studies, reverse translations, etc. Prerequisite: At least one year of Latin at college level. Please contact the instructor if you have questions about your qualifications. Spring.
