Provides academic credit for students' work in an internship related to LACAS field. Internship must be approved by LACAS Director to register. The following credits/hour requirements per semester apply: 2 Credits: minimum of 60 hrs; 4 Credits: minimum of 120 hrs 8 credits: minimum of 240 hrs. A midterm evaluation and final evaluation report must be submitted by the Internship's Supervisor at the internship site. Students who wish to participate in an internship and who have previously been convicted of a felony are advised that they will be asked about their prior criminal history. This may impede your ability to participate in certain internships. Students who have concerns about such matters, or are looking for additional information, are advised to contact the dean's office of their intended academic program.
