Catalog description
KOR 305 is the first half of the year-long Advanced Korean language curriculum. This course is designed for those who have completed KOR 204 successfully or have acquired the equivalent knowledge and competence. The objective of this course is for students to develop an advanced level of communicative competence in all four language skills-listening, speaking, reading, and writing-along with an advanced understanding of the Korean culture. Specifically, they will learn to comprehend and utilize the advanced linguistic expressions of intentions, preferences, judgments, experiences, reasons, desires, etc. in long and complex structures. prerequisite: KOR 204.
