This course is designed to help students read and comprehend authentic materials at the fourth-year level in Japanese. Discussion topics are sourced from contemporary materials, and the focus is on developing proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The goal is for students to move beyond textbook learning and communicate in Japanese at a near-native level. Prerequisites: JPN 306 or satisfactory performance on a placement test.
