Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to apply mathematical techniques in developing solutions to "production scheduling" problems. The "production scheduling" terminology may seem like these techniques are applicable only to manufacturing, however, they have broad applications across many industries and sectors including, but not limited, to healthcare, service industries, food processing, etc. Prerequisites: ISE 311 and senior-level standing, or permission of the instructor. 3 credits.
