Review of the concepts involved in the application of scientific principles, methods, and history to the development of engineering systems in which people play a significant role. Primary focus is on the man/machine interface and how to design for the human being as part of an overall system. Prerequisite: MATH 226/227 or permission of instructor. Offered in the Fall semester.
