INTRODUCTION TO RESEARCH FOR HEALTH SCIENCES Introduction to Research for Health Sciences is a writing-intensive course designed for introducing health science students to the literature surrounding the discipline. Students will become familiar in searching, obtaining, and evaluating information from both primary and secondary literature sources through the production of a cumulative scientific review paper. Development of this paper will allow students to practice critical analysis of news sources and scientific literature, construct research summaries, peer review of materials, and present on an area of interest of their choosing.
