HIST 600S - Research Seminar Professor Fa-Ti Fan Fall 2025 Course Description: Umbrella course designed to bring together graduate students in all fields who are ready to undertake original research. Assists students in planning a project on the basis of primary source material, combining this material with specialized secondary studies and situating it all in a larger historiographical framework. The final paper may serve as the basis for a dissertation chapter or a demonstration of research skills needed for the MA. Students will need to seek the guidance of their principal mentors throughout the semester.
