Catalog description

This course explores current and emerging issues shaping higher education and student affairs. Students engage daily with higher education news sources and podcasts to critically examine how political, social, and economic forces influence institutions and student experiences. Through online discussions and a final project focused on a self-selected topic, students analyze trends, synthesize multiple perspectives, and develop informed, practice-oriented responses to the complex challenges facing contemporary higher education.
