Catalog description
The purpose of this course is to familiarize students with the issues and concerns resettled refugees face in the U.S., and the challenges they face in adapting to the U.S., especially considering intersections of sexuality, culture, class, and ethnicity. This course will highlight ways we can facilitate refugee resettlement more smoothly as activists and professionals. Open only to juniors and seniors currently matriculated in HDEV. Offered: periodically.
