Catalog description

This course is designed to be an introduction to getting involved in service and leadership activities, with an emphasis on the kinds of personal growth and outside-the-classroom learning that takes place in such activities. The course will provide structure and guidance for service and leadership involvements both on and off campus, with the expectation that students will increasingly chart their own course based on their personal interests, their talents, and their discovery of the available opportunities. The course is designed for students in their first term at the University, and is limited to students who live in Hinman College. Offered: fall only.
