Students will work with the professor and each other on brainstorming, planning, marketing, and running cultural and musical programming in Mountainview College, with the goals of fostering community, enhancing student well-being, and promoting learning. Students will be expected to carry out research in the planning stages, and also to create publicity materials and digital media content for social media (before and after the events) as needed and appropriate. They will also reach out to, communicate with, and work with various campus partners as needed. As there will be some flexibility in the course, students will work with the professor on developing individualized goals for the semester, and will write regular papers reflecting on their progress, successes, and challenges.
