GRK 102 is the second of a two semester sequence that provides a comprehensive introduction to ancient Greek. Course work involves formal study of grammar and vocabulary, reading practice, writing simple sentences, and some speaking in the target language to aid in learning. Throughout the course, students will encounter authentic ancient Greek texts. Students who complete this course will be prepared to go on to GRK 203. This course is appropriate for students who have taken GRK101 or similar. For majors and non-majors. Format may vary by sections: Class participation and attendance required.
