Catalog description

This course is available to graduate students in science and engineering programs. It will provide an overview of business management skills by teaching principles of budget and financial accounting. Students will develop an understanding of the basic financial tools needed to develop business proposals and successfully manage scientific projects in public and private work sectors. Topics may include capital planning, cost estimation, project progress measurement and other keys to developing a financially sound business. Mastery of the subject matter will be assessed.
