Catalog description

This course introduces students to the central theoretical frameworks and debates that shape contemporary geography, spanning both the human and physical subfields of the discipline. Emphasis is placed on understanding how geographic theory informs research design and the framing of research questions, and how in turn, research contributes to larger theoretical discussions and movements within the literature.
