Catalog description

This course focuses on issues shaping Asian migrant communities including immigration, politics, economic participation, family issues, education issues, health, gender issues, youth issues, inter-racial relations and other contemporary topics. It focuses on two major Asian migrant groups- Asian migrants in the United States, and intra-Asia migrants. This 400-level course also aims to assist students to use geographical and demographical methods to design your research, collect migration-related data, process and analyze it, and draw conclusions. Restriction: Junior or Senior Standing. Offered Fall semesters.
