Catalog description

A comparative and systematic approach to understanding urban development patterns in cities through time and space. Students will analyze how different historical, social, political, economic, environmental and cultural influences shape urban forms and experiences. Students will develop understanding of both the processes driving urbanization and the particular characteristics that make each city unique.
