Data Science and AI in Finance

Catalog description

This course equips students with data science and AI tools for financial analysis through four integrated modules. Students begin by mastering programming in Python, then apply regression analysis to complex financial datasets. The third module introduces machine learning, AI, and large language models for advanced financial applications. The course concludes with students showcasing original projects that synthesize their learning. Basic knowledge about programming, probability and statistics, and econometrics is required. Prerequisite MGMT 505 or equivalent. Offered in the spring semester.
