Binghamton University · UGRD

This 2-credit course prepares peer mentors to support first-year international students as they adjust to U.S. academic and cultural life. In the fall, mentors help first-year students transition and build community; in the spring, they support academic recovery. Through training, reflection, and hands-on mentoring, students build practical skills in leadership, peer coaching, and intercultural communication that they can apply in future academic and professional settings. This is a practicum course.
