EML 210Academic Writing for ELLs

This course is for students who have a good command of English but still need improvement. There is a strong emphasis on writing, but this course also provides opportunities for practice in reading, speaking and listening. The primary evaluation of this class is based on two formal papers, as well as at least three shorter papers, homework, and class participation. This is a 4-credit course that is offered every fall and spring semester.
