Catalog description

An introduction to the modern field of covert communication using digital media. General principles of covert communications in digital images and detection of hidden data in digital media files (statistical tests, signal estimation). Steganographic security, capacity and detectability. Universal blind steganayzers based on machine learning. Forensic steganalysis. Prerequisites: Knowledge of MATLAB and basics of signal processing. Offered every fall semester.
