Catalog description

This course covers the fundamentals of digital audio signal processing. Topics include analog-to-digital converters and digital-to-analog converters, models for characterizing and analyzing quantization errors in digital audio, sampling rate conversion, design of filters and equalizers, algorithms for simulating room acoustics, and algorithms for implementing digital audio effects. Implementation of algorithms using Matlab is emphasized.
