This course provides fundamental computer engineering knowledge for the design and analysis of digital systems. Includes applications of Discrete Math; Groups; Group Codes; Semi-groups; Synthesis of Networks; Reliable Design and Fault Diagnosis; Graphs; and Finite State Machines. Prerequisites: EECE 351 or equivalent and MATH 314 or equivalent. Offered every fall semester. 3 credits.
