Catalog description

Introduction to analog circuit design. Course topics include large and small-signal analysis, circuit characteristics (gain, input/output resistance, etc.), amplifier structures, frequency/time response, feedback and stability, multistage amplifiers and active filters. This course includes several assignments requiring the use of software tools for circuit simulation and a design project. Lecture portion meets with EECE 416. Extra assignments, and/or final project will be required at the graduate level. Prerequisite: EECE 315. Offered every fall semester.
