Introduction to security engineering, systemic analysis and common design principles. Cryptographic protocols, multilevel security, system evaluation, real-world vulnerabilities and attacks. Technical elective. Prerequisites: EECE 287 or CS 211, familiarity with C or C++ or similar programming language. Offered every spring semester.
