Catalog description

Electronic processing of electrical energy. Overview of power electronics devices such as DMOSFET, IGBT and Thyristor. Power supply circuits from AC or DC sources as used in computers, inverters and variable-speed motor drives. Analytical and numerical techniques for simulation. Technical elective. Prerequisites: EECE 315 and EECE 301. Offered every fall semester.
