Catalog description

This course is intended to enhance students’ abilities to become both consumers and producers of mixed methods research. This course is designed to familiarize students with the concepts, purposes, and methods that are fundamental to conducting mixed research studies, to explore different mixed methods designs, and to examine techniques for conducting mixed methods analysis. As an advanced level research course, students will prepare a written mixed methods research proposal that demonstrates their understanding of the complementary nature of qualitative and quantitative methodologies in mixed methods studies. Prerequisite: EDUC 620. Offered: even spring semester.
