ECON 502Econometric Methods (LEC)

This is an introductory course on econometrics; the objective is two-fold: (1) students get to know some basic theories of econometric methods, the rationale of a chosen estimation methodology and implication of estimation results, and (2) students learn hands-on to estimate econometric models using econometric software and then to interpret the results. Format: 2 Midterm exams, a comprehensive final exam, homework assignments, and pop quizzes.
