Catalog description
This course uses the tools of economics to examine the role of gender in several aspects of life (e.g. education, marriage, family, and the labor market), especially in the context of developing countries. Our discussions will involve simple theoretical models, experimental designs, and empirical evidence. Prerequisites - Grade of C or better in ECON 360; also grade of C or better in college-level statistics and calculus. Offered regularly.
