Prerequisites: Grade of C or better in ECON 160, ECON 162 and college level calculus. Introduction to analysis of determination of national output and income; international trade and exchange rates; business cycles and inflation. Format: Lectures and mandatory weekly discussion sections. Problem sets. Course grade will be based on problem sets, two midterm examinations and a comprehensive final examination. Discussion sections will NOT meet the first week of classes.
