Binghamton University · UGRD

This course trains graduate students in the practice of planning, publishing, and managing digital projects that enhance or serve as a platform for disseminating their research. Students will encounter and practice tools that allow them to build a variety of interactive and media rich objects while learning how to communicate complex ideas to the media, policy makers, and the general public. Throughout we will pull examples, theory, and best practices from across disciplines including science communication, digital humanities, and public communication to ground our projects. The course is heavily project based, but no prior experience is required in any digital tool.
