Catalog description

In this community-focused version of the Digital & Data Studies capstone course, students will complete a significant digital project in partnership with an organization from the Binghamton community. Students will learn the basics of designing digital projects and project management, as well as best practices in collaborating with community organizations and designing projects that are responsive to the needs of community members. The course will include in-class lectures, workshops, and activities to prepare students for their projects, as well as meetings with community partners outside of class as needed. DIDA 426 counts as the capstone requirement for DIDA minors. PREREQUISITES: Minimum grade of C in HARP 150 and DIDA 325/HARP 325. Offered regularly.
