Catalog description

This course explores meaningful ways to apply visual communication strategies to interactive media. By creating several projects, students learn web design, game design, and graphic design principles. The projects will focus on the design of interactive experiences with JavaScript libraries, HTML, and graphic editing software. We will experiment with the design elements of motion and interaction as they relate to new media communication. At the end of this course, you will be able to develop an idea into a polished design project and construct a visual narrative. Offered each semester. Restrictions: Watson and SOM students are by permission of instructor.
