CW 450A Advanced Poetry Workshop - PRE-REQ CW 250/350. Freshman Restricted This is an advanced poetry course for those who have previously taken 250 introductory and 350 intermediary creative writing courses. It is the most advanced poetry course in the undergraduate major and those who take the course should have a working knowledge of contemporary poetry and its various schools and aesthetic traditions. The purpose of the course is to further advance the work of students who have learned both close reading of poetry and how to write poetry in a contemporary mode.
