Catalog

CW 350A Intermediate Poetry Workshop - Pre-Req CW 250 This is a class in the writing of poetry. Much of the class will be dedicated to workshopping your poems; trying to help you become the poet you want to be. We will sometimes also be reading outside poems that inspire us, looking at them in order to study different aspects of poetry. Some in-class writing, a few assignments, mostly the content of the class will be up to you. Each student is expected to do an oral presentation on some poet or aspect of poetry of interest. A minimum of 12 poems written this semester, plus revisions. Midterm and final portfolios.
