Catalog description

This course provides thorough coverage of current and emerging topics in the field of computer architecture. The course covers manycore architectures, GPUs, accelerators, power management, memory technologies and systems. Specific focus areas can vary and include architectural support for: AI and machine learning, big data processing, graph processing, security and privacy and alternative processing paradigms. Prerequisite: CS 520 Computer Architecture and Organization, CS 550 Operating Systems, or instructor permission. Offered annually.
