Catalog description

The course will introduce the concepts, structure, techniques and algorithms for use of modern interactive computer graphics systems. Graphics hardware, software system structure. Techniques and algorithms for basic graphics input/output functions. Matrix techniques for transformations and projections. Techniques for two- and three-dimensional modeling, rendering, animation, and visualization. The course will also introduce data-driven algorithms with use of generative AI for applications of image synthesis. Prerequisite: CS375 or equivalents. Term frequency of offering varies.
