Catalog description

Covers the basic ideas and techniques underlying the design of artificial intelligence (AI) agents. Topics include search, knowledge representation (and reasoning), planning, reasoning under uncertainty, machine learning (including reinforcement learning), and applications (natural language processing, vision, robotics, etc). Prerequisite: CS 375, with a grade of C- or better. Typically offered every semester, at least once every academic year.
