Catalog description

Covers the area of high performance computing for machine learning, big data, and scientific computing. Students learn about techniques for programs where performance is a significant concern. A variety of different algorithms and applications will be considered, such as machine learning, big data, and more traditional scientific computing. Most assignments and projects will prohibit AI, but at least one of the projects will require AI. Prerequisite: CS 220 and CS 310. All prerequisites must have a grade of C- or better.
