This course surveys methodological frameworks and theoretical approaches used in the field of Comparative Literature. Theoretical units sample various approaches to literary theory, ranging from Russian Formalism to New Materialism(s). In addition to this theoretical survey, the course is designed as an introduction to the field and will also feature practical modules on many relevant professional expectations.
