Catalog description
This production course emphasizes creative processes of working in a live performance environment utilizing a variety of sound and image manipulation technologies. Software and hardware techniques will be explored to gain an understanding of the interactive and sonic, sculptural, possibilities available. Experimentation between tools is essential. Students will have the flexibility to choose which techniques they would like to use in performing their works. Students will be required to perform their projects. Can be used as an alternative to Cine 351 in order to satisfy core intermediate production requirement for the major. Prerequisites: CINE 121,122 and 252 or 253. or consent of instructor.
