Crystal structures, synthesis of solids, low-dimensional solids, defects and phase diagrams, intercalation chemistry, structural analysis, catalysis, transport properties, optical properties, magnetic and dielectric properties, superconductivity, electrochemistry, diffusion and other topical areas. Prerequisite: one or more years of chemistry and/or physics.
