Also with selected introduction to biologically relevant compounds including carbohydrates, lipids, amino acids / peptides / proteins, and nucleic acids. Credits: 4. Format: lectures, discussion. BOOKS: Carey, ORGANIC CHEMISTRY, 12th ed. and McGraw-Hill ALEKS subscription are required. PREREQUISITE: CHEM 231. Recommended corequisite CHEM 335.
