An introduction to the major organ systems of the body with an emphasis on regulatory processes and interactions with other body systems. The course provides the students with a basic understanding of the prevalent theories of physiology and pathophysiology and the application of these theories to health concerns relevant to biomedical engineering. Prerequisites: Graduate standing in BME or instructor approval
