Catalog description

This is an introduction to biomedical imaging systems for biomedical engineering graduate students. The course covers biomedical imaging with an emphasis on fundamental principles and applications of each modern imaging modality including X-ray radiography, computed tomography (CT), nuclear medicine (SPECT and PET), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound. Prerequisites: Graduate standing in BME or instructor approval. Spring semester.
