Catalog description

This is an advanced course for biomedical engineering undergraduates and beginning graduate students. The course covers studies of significant medical devices with a discussion of appropriate physiology, system design, biocompatibility issues, and clinical need. Details on technological function and administration of diagnosis and/or therapy are covered along with standard requirements from organizations.
