Catalog description
An introduction to the major organ systems of the body with an emphasis on regulatory processes and interactions with other systems. The course provides students with a basic understanding of the prevalent theories of physiology and pathophysiology and the application of these theories to health concerns relevant to biomedical engineering. Prerequisites: BIOL 113 , CHEM 231 . Fall semester.
