The Legal Environment of Management course is an introductory study of Law and its relation to the business environment. The nature of the law and its development are considered. Procedural aspects of a civil and criminal case are reviewed. Substantive areas of the Law as they relate to business are studied including the Law of Torts, Crimes, Contracts, the Uniform Commercial Code, Employment Law and other areas.
