Basic statistics topics, including probability and distribution, experimental designs and hypothesis testing (t-test and ANOVA) and linear regression. Includes lectures and the use of computer statistical software. Teaches biology graduate students basic theory and practical skills in statistics. BIOL 117 and 118, and MATH 147 or 148.
